Make sure to down load the latest firmware for the MODE 3.1. Serial Numbers on the MODE 3.1 from 00088821 and up have to use the newest firmware “Version 2.0.2”. If older firmware is used, communication to the MODE 3.1 via an MZC will not work correctly and will show no data on the screen. Version 2.0.2 of the MODE firmware is compatible with all MODE 3.1 keypads.
